The Cornerstone Youth Group's main purpose is to provide a safe place for teenagers to learn about Christ and grow in their walk with God. We believe it's important for teens to get an early start building positive relationships with other Christians their age, as well as with adults who love God and are committed to His word.
At CYG, our focus is on the Scriptures. By teaching biblical principles in just about everything we do, teens come to see the bible as more than just a great work of antiquity. As they realize the practical applications that are in the Scriptures, the bible comes alive and they get excited about studying it!
Activities teens can plug into:
- Sunday School: Sunday mornings, 10:00 - 10:45 am
- Wednesday Night Bible Study: Wednesday nights (duh!) 7:00 - 8:00 pm. (Come @ 6:30 for free pizza!)
- Friday Night Nameless Gathering: Fridays from 7:00 - 11:00 pm
The last Friday night of the month is Movie Night where we show a good, wholesome movie and then discuss it afterwards. There's usually some free popcorn and candy to go along as well!
Friday Night Teens
Finally, we settled on referring to our group as The Nameless Gathering (get it? Since we couldn't come up with a name?). The quirky origin of the name, and the air of mystery surrounding it, makes it perfect for Youth Ministry!
The Cornerstone Youth Group is open to students entering 6th grade through newly graduated seniors. Come join The Nameless Gathering!
